Word Monkey Coming to iPad

Word Monkey is coming to iPad courtesy of a new update that has just been submitted to Apple!

The new update makes Word Monkey a universal app that will run on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Essentially, if you already have Word Monkey for your iPhone or iPod touch, you get the iPad version for free!

Here are some new features coming with the update:

Play Word Monkey on the beautiful iPad screen with hi-res graphics.
Compete against a friend with the new split-screen multiplayer mode that’s only available for iPad.
Don’t have any good letters? Use two fingers to scroll the blocks upwards to get new letters quickly.

Note that with the new iPad support, devices running OS 2.x will no longer be supported. You can upgrade your device to a newer version from iTunes.

It’s been a long time coming, but our new game Word Monkey for iPhone & iPod touch has been submitted to Apple and should be available soon!

In Word Monkey, your goal as Dr. Schmachter’s lab assistant is to use your device to train a cute little lab monkey by programming words directly into its brain! You have to quickly spell words from the rising jumble of letters before they hit the top of the screen, or it’s game over.

We’ll post again when the game has been approved and is up on the App Store!

Sheepstacker 1.2 Issue On 2.2.1 And Earlier Devices

We’ve been made aware of an issue with the new Sheepstacker 1.2 update and devices running OS 2.2.1 or earlier. This issue causes the game to not start properly, only showing the Tiny Tim Games logo before dropping back to the Home screen.

We have submitted a fix for this problem and are awaiting approval from Apple. Please note that you do NOT have to upgrade to OS 3.0. You simply need to update to Sheepstacker 1.2.1 when it is posted to the App Store. We are hoping the update will be posted by this weekend.

I would like to personally apologize for any inconvenience, and I thank you for your patience in this matter.

Sheepstacker 1.1 Has Been Submitted

Our big update for Sheepstacker has just been submitted to Apple! We’re very excited for this release as it adds a lot of the features that our players have been asking for.

First up, we have High Score tables. Each of the game modes will track your highest stacks and your most nickels. In addition, a running tally will show you just how much you’ve really been playing.

Next, we have Badges! These little icons are awarded to players as they complete special objectives while playing the game. You’ll receive Badges for setting record stack heights or for achieving a MAX combo. There are 12 Badges to earn in total.

And finally, there’s the all new game mode: Baa-lance! In this mode, you won’t be tapping the screen to drop your sheep. Instead, by tilting your iPhone or iPod touch left and right, you’ll move a small wagon in an attempt to catch the randomly falling sheep! It’s a completely different take on the Sheepstacker gameplay, but it’s just as fun and addicting as ever.

We’ll have additional screenshots and video of the new gameplay mode over the next few days, and we’ll also let you know when the update goes live. Thanks for sticking with us, and we hope you enjoy the update!
